Kleinarl is an idyllic village, surroundet by the mountainous region of Salzburg!
Mountain and valley, a difference of altitude between 1000 and 2.600 ms above sea level, and the village of Kleinarl in the middle. Hiking, biking and climbing at the edge of the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern – and a lot of fun for children: everything there for you to enjoy!
Despite the altitude, Kleinarl is only a few kilometres off the motorway, 70 km south of the city Salzburg.

Summer in the Kleinarl mountains is ideal for children and kids. Search the torrent for interesting stones, or take your dad for a boat trip or fishing on the crystal clear water of the Jägersee. Why not explore the area on bike! Fortunately, there are not many cars in here, thus, you can cycle to your heart´s content. Horses, sheep, cats- everywhere animals to touch. Have you tried milking a cow? This is more difficult than it seems, truly! If you are more on the lazy side, try the cable railway – you won´t get your body in shape that way, but your mountain experience is guaranteed.
