Besides the Lungauer ski areas Aineck-Katschberg, Fanningberg, Großeck and Speiereck, Mauterndorf offers a demanding toboggan trail, horse sled trips, cozy cottages and a skating area. 

The heart of each ski driver and Snowboarder will beat faster while going down on best prepared slopes and deep snow tracks. The mountain of Mauterndorf, the "Großeck - Speiereck" offers 9 elevators and about 41 km of slopes.  Many offers for families: ski training, ski kindergarten and Apres ski. Because of that, the Lungau ski region counts as the most family friendy region in the Salzburg country.
