By bike and mountain bike
Would you like to experience a few days of cycling vacation as its finest? Riding a bike in the fantastic mountenous region of the Salzburg Saalachtals is a unique experience, ideal for the leisurely relaxed cyclist or for the extremely fit cyclist.
There are 480 km of mountain and trekking bike trails that run right through the unique landscape of the Salzburg country.
A tip for hot days: plan your route in such a way that you go past one of the swimming pools, or the physical bath area Vorderkaser. Treat yourself to a break at one of the Guesthouses along the way.

Children are welcome:
Children can rave, romp, discover nature and enjoy our weekly kids Olympic games, have fun around a BBQ, and in Vorderkaser with its crystal clear water and idyllic ponds. Our mascot “Kaserasi” is at every event. You can obtain your Kaserasi weekly pass (a daily one is also available). Our greeting to you is: come and stay!

Try something new like climbing, golf, Pit- Pat (billiard and mini-golf combined), fitness course or inline skating, archery... This and a lot more are on offer.

Water world:
The Salzburg Saalachtal is richly blessed with water. Enjoy it in its varied forms, cannoning in our gorges and caves, in the baths and leisure arrangements, with fly fishing, a visit to the natural bathing area of Vorderkaser or the adventure park Steinbergbad. It is no wonder that the river Saalach is famous for its World Cup Canoe Course.
